sm8 Banking: Deposit, Withdraw and Verify Your Account

This page covers every money operation on your sm8 account — from loading your wallet before your first session to withdrawing what you've earned back to your preferred method. We support Touch 'n Go eWallet, DuitNow and FPX as our primary local payment rails, and each one sits inside the Banking tab once you're logged in. Start with the Deposit section to fund your account, move to Withdraw when you're ready to pull your balance out, and check the Verification section if your account is flagged for identity confirmation before a payout is processed. All three flows are shown exactly as they appear in your account — no guesswork, no invented steps. If you run into a delay or an error message, the FAQ at the bottom of this page covers the most common scenarios our Malaysia account holders ask about. Where access or eligibility applies, availability depends on local law and eligible regions.

TRANSACTION RECORDS

Match Your Wallet Transaction to Your sm8 Account

Every deposit and withdrawal through Touch 'n Go eWallet, DuitNow or FPX generates a reference on both sides — inside your e-wallet app and inside your sm8 account history. Knowing how to read these together saves time whenever a credit appears delayed or a withdrawal status feels stuck.

  • Reference Number

Your e-wallet or FPX confirmation screen shows a transaction reference. Your sm8 account history shows its own internal reference. Keep both — support needs the external reference to trace a payment on the banking side without you having to chase your bank separately.

  • Status Labels

sm8 account history uses three labels: Pending, Approved and Rejected. Pending means the payment is still being matched. Approved means the credit has landed in your balance. Rejected means the transaction could not be completed and the amount is held or returned by your payment provider.

  • Account History Tab

Open the Banking tab after login, then select History. You will see a date-sorted list of every deposit and withdrawal request, each with its status, the method used and the amount. This is your primary record — screenshot it when you raise a support query.

  • Evidence to Keep

Hold onto your e-wallet receipt, the FPX confirmation page, or the DuitNow transfer notification until the status in your sm8 account history shows Approved. If a dispute is raised, this receipt is what resolves it fastest.

ACCOUNT SAFEGUARDS

How We Protect Your Transactions and Account

Security on your sm8 account runs across four layers — the domain you access, the identity check before a payout, the wallet ownership confirmation and the support path when something needs a human to look at it. Each layer is there to make sure the money moving through your account is yours.

  • Domain Check

Always access sm8 through sm8. A mistyped or spoofed domain will not have your real account session. Bookmark the address after your first login so you are never redirected to a page that looks like ours but is not.

  • Identity Verification

Before processing a first withdrawal above our threshold, we ask you to confirm your identity with a valid document. This step protects your account from unauthorised payout requests — it is a one-time process that stays on record once completed.

  • Wallet Ownership

Your withdrawal method must match the wallet or bank account registered to your sm8 profile. We do not send funds to a third-party account. If you need to update your registered wallet, contact support before submitting a withdrawal request.

  • Support Path

Our Malaysia support team handles banking queries through the live chat channel accessible from the sm8 footer. Raise a query with your internal transaction reference and your external receipt reference and the team can pull the full payment trace on their side.

Add Funds to Your sm8 Balance
FUND YOUR ACCOUNT

Add Funds to Your sm8 Balance

Depositing into your sm8 account takes a few steps inside the Banking tab. We currently process local deposits through Touch 'n Go eWallet, DuitNow and FPX online banking — no card details required for any of these three methods. Each method routes through its own confirmation screen before the credit appears in your sm8 balance. The amount you enter must fall within the minimum and maximum shown on the deposit screen at the time you submit — those figures are set by the payment provider and displayed live, so we do not publish a fixed number here. Once your deposit is confirmed by the provider, your sm8 balance updates and you can move straight into the lobby. If the status stays on Pending after your provider shows a completed payment, wait a few minutes then check your account History tab before contacting support.

  • Open the Banking Tab

Log in to your sm8 account and select the Banking tab from the main navigation. Choose Deposit to begin.

  • Select Your Method

Pick Touch 'n Go eWallet, DuitNow or FPX from the method list. The screen shows the current minimum and maximum amounts for your chosen method.

  • Enter the Amount and Confirm

Type your deposit amount, review the details on screen, then tap Confirm. You will be redirected to your chosen payment provider to complete authentication.

  • Credit Lands in Your Balance

Once your payment provider confirms the transaction, your sm8 balance updates. Check the History tab if you want to see the status entry.

WITHDRAW YOUR BALANCE

Send Your sm8 Balance Back to Your Wallet

Withdrawals on sm8 go back to the same local method you used to deposit, or to the registered wallet or bank account on your profile. We process withdrawal requests to Touch 'n Go eWallet, DuitNow and FPX. Before you submit your first withdrawal, make sure your account has completed identity verification — the KYC section below explains what is needed and why. The withdrawal screen inside your Banking tab shows your available balance, the current limits for your chosen method and a field for the amount. Enter the amount, select your payout method, then confirm. Your request enters a processing queue and the status is visible in your History tab. We do not publish fixed payout windows because processing time depends on your payment provider and the volume of requests in the queue — watch your History tab for the status change from Pending to Approved.

  • Open Banking and Choose Withdraw

Log in, go to the Banking tab and select Withdraw. Your current available balance is shown at the top of the screen.

  • Choose Your Payout Method

Select Touch 'n Go eWallet, DuitNow or FPX. The method must match what is registered on your sm8 profile.

  • Enter Amount and Complete Verification

Type the amount within the limits shown on screen. If prompted, complete the on-screen verification step before confirming.

  • Track Status in History

Your withdrawal request appears in the History tab with a Pending status. It updates to Approved once the payment provider has processed it.

VERIFY YOUR IDENTITY

sm8 Account Verification Steps

Identity verification on your sm8 account is a one-time process that unlocks withdrawal processing above our standard threshold. We ask for a government-issued photo ID and a selfie that matches it. This is not a barrier — it is how we make sure that only you can move funds out of your account. Once your documents are reviewed and approved, the verification status on your profile updates and you will not be asked again. Upload clear, unobstructed images for a faster review.

  • Prepare Your Document

Use a MyKad, passport or other government-issued photo ID valid at the time of submission. Make sure the name matches your sm8 account registration exactly.

  • Upload ID and Selfie

Go to the Verification section in your account profile. Upload a clear photo of the front of your ID and a selfie holding it next to your face.

  • Wait for Review

Your submission enters the review queue. The status on your profile page updates once the review is complete. Check there before contacting support about the outcome.

  • Verification Protects Your Payouts

Once approved, withdrawal requests above the standard threshold go through without additional identity steps. This one-time check keeps your account funds accessible only to you.

BANKING QUESTIONS

Common Banking Questions for sm8 Accounts

These are the questions our Malaysia account holders ask most often about deposits, withdrawals and verification. If your specific question is not here, our support team is available through live chat on sm8.

How do I deposit using Touch 'n Go eWallet on sm8?

Log in to your sm8 account, open the Banking tab, select Deposit and choose Touch 'n Go eWallet. Enter your amount, confirm, and authenticate inside your app.

Why is my deposit still showing as Pending?

Pending means the payment is still being matched between your provider and your sm8 account. Wait a few minutes and refresh your History tab. If it has not moved to Approved after that, contact support with your external receipt reference.

What documents do I need for account verification?

A government-issued photo ID — MyKad or passport — plus a selfie holding it. The name on your ID must match your sm8 account registration. Upload clear images to the Verification section in your account profile.

Can I withdraw to a different wallet than the one I deposited with?

Your withdrawal method must be registered to your sm8 profile. If you need to update the registered wallet or bank account, contact our support team through live chat before you submit a withdrawal request.

What should I do if my withdrawal is delayed?

Check your History tab first — the status shows whether the request is Pending or Approved. If it stays on Pending longer than expected, gather your internal transaction reference and contact support through live chat on sm8.

Is there a minimum amount for deposits and withdrawals?

Yes. The minimum and maximum amounts for each method are shown live on the deposit and withdrawal screens inside your Banking tab. These are set by the payment provider and may vary, so check the screen at the time you submit.
